“Child Project” for children infected with HIV/AIDS.

32 HIV+ Orphan children are in hostel  at Nimbhora who have lost their parents to HIV/Aids under this programme, these children receive nutritional supplements to boost their immune system and fight the fatal disease.

Hostels for the ST/SC Tribal Children in Diocese has 5 Boys and girls hostels

In order to prevent child marriages, reduce the drop out rates; increase the rate of the girl child in school and to create awareness on the long term impacts of education, hostels are established for the Katkari tribal children for 10 months period of stay during the academic year.

Bhonga Schools at the brick kiln sites and village Supplementary Classes.

Children of the migrant labourers often accompany their parents to the brick kiln sites to supplement the family income. These children are deprived of their child hood and education.  These schools prepare children for the examinations of Std. I and IV and will give them government recognized certificates so that they can continue their education once they go back to their villages.

Through the formation of children’s groups, children take up issues that affect their lives, thus enhancing their innate potentials and leadership qualities.
